How to use Peach, Green, Blue and Lavender Correctors
Flawless skin goes beyond great foundation and powder. Correctors hides the really tough imperfections with out making it look like you are wearing tons of foundation. Every brand has natural colored concealer but, the ones that make miracles happen are the correctors that have a not so subtle color. I'm talking about the Peach (or Yellow), Green, Blue, & Lavender correctors.
First thing, it is best and recommended to put concealer on BEFORE you apply foundation. I like to apply foundation with my fingertips and I blend it in. That way, when you apply your foundation your are covering it all up and it looks more natural. Another option is buying a make up primer in a corrective color.
Peach/Yellow Corrector
The unfortunate truth is that we all have under eye circles. Most under eye circles are a bluish, purple color so a nice peach or yellow will cancel it out nicely. I recommend Bobbi Brown corrector. Its long lasting and has great results. I've also heard great things about YSL Touche Eclat
Green Corrector
This particular corrector is my best friend!! I can't live with out green corrector. This eliminates the signs of redness on the face aka acne and rosacea. My favorites green correctors are Make Up For Ever Camouflage Cream Palette No. 1 and Clinique's Acne Solutions Clearing Concealer
Blue & Lavender Corrector
Blue and Lavender correctors make your skin look more vibrant and fresh. I recommend blue for people with medium to dark skin tones to cancel out any sallow undertones that may make you look sickly. Lavender corrector is going to benefit those with fair to medium skin tones. I recommend Smashbox Photo Finish Corrector Primer
